Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of warm distilled water
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 drop of eucalyptus essential oil
  • 1 drop of peppermint essential oil
  • 1 drop of lavender essential oil

Instructions

1. Start by filling the neti pot with warm distilled water. You can also use filtered water, if available.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of sea salt to the water.
3. Add the essential oils to the water. Start with 1 drop of eucalyptus essential oil, followed by 1 drop of peppermint essential oil, and finish with 1 drop of lavender essential oil.
4. Stir the mixture with a spoon or stirrer until the salt is dissolved.
5. Lean forward over a sink and tilt your head to one side. Place the spout of the neti pot into the upper nostril and gently pour the solution into the nostril.
6. The solution should flow out of the other nostril.
7. Blow your nose gently to remove any excess solution or mucus.
8. Repeat the process on the other side.
9. After using the neti pot, rinse the pot with warm distilled water and allow it to air dry.
10. Store the neti pot and its contents in a cool, dry place.
