Description

Cheesecake has always been a favorite dessert of mine, and now you can make it with ease in your own kitchen with this simple One Pot Chef recipe. This delicious cheesecake is made with a classic combination of cream cheese, sugar, eggs and a few other ingredients. The result is a creamy, delicious cheesecake that can be topped off with a variety of fruits or other sweet treats. Plus, this cheesecake can be made in one single pot, so you don't have to worry about a mess in your kitchen.

Prep Time

This cheesecake only takes about 15 minutes to prepare. You'll need to preheat your oven and get all of your ingredients together before beginning. Preparing the ingredients will also require a bit of time, so make sure that you have enough time to get everything ready before you start cooking.

Cook Time

This cheesecake should bake for about 45 minutes. You'll want to check the center of the cheesecake periodically to make sure it reaches the desired consistency. Once the cheesecake is finished baking, you'll need to let it cool for about an hour before serving.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar and eggs until they are creamy and smooth. Add in the vanilla extract, flour, baking powder and melted butter and mix until everything is combined. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter and then pour the cheesecake mixture into the pan. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the top of the cheesecake and gently press them into the top. Place the springform pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the center of the cheesecake is set.

Once the cheesecake is finished baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for about an hour. Serve the cheesecake with fresh fruit, ice cream or with a dollop of cream. Enjoy!

Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • 9-inch springform pan
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Oven

Notes

This recipe can also be made in a 9-inch pie plate. If you use a pie plate, you'll want to reduce the baking time to about 40 minutes. This recipe can also be made in a 9x13 inch cake pan, but the baking time will need to be increased to about 60 minutes.
